Does the world really need another sewing pattern for a basic tee? LA BREA tee testers say "YES"! Especially when it's a tee that can be made in woven or knit fabric and has B- and D-cup options at every size. What I love most about this pattern is how endless the variations are with such a simple and basic pattern - embodying "simple design. big impact."
The LA BREA tee is the second pattern in my improved, more inclusive range, which is approximately a US 00 to 36, or a UK 4 to 40, fitting a full bust of 76cm to 160cm (30" to 63") and a full hip of 86cm to 170cm (33.75" to 67"). As I grade my patterns in 18 sizes, I simply call them size 1 - 18. The main issues found during testing round was some gaping at the neckline and too narrow of a bicep. In the final pattern, the neckline was dropped very slightly and the bicep at the higher end of the size range was increased. Keeping these issues in mind, I also included tips on adjusting these areas in the instruction booklet.
