boat neck ANEGADA | fabric inspiration

boat neck ANEGADA PDF sewing pattern fabric inspirationBoat neck ANEGADA is one of those patterns that will offer you a number of completely different tops depending on the fabric you choose to work with, making it ideal for every season and every location! It is absolutely a #TNT, or "tried-n-true", in the making!

To help you get started on your ANEGADA, I’ve gathered up a number of different fabrics that I thought would work well with the pattern. With so many beautiful options, I attempted to narrow my search to a blue-ish color pallet to keep it from becoming too overwhelming, although a few other tones were just too gorgeous to leave out! This is only the tip of the iceberg of all the amazing (ethical!) fabrics out there that would be so, so good as an ANEGADA.

  • Mieke, I think it may work if you cut the fabric on the bias. If you try it, please be sure to share! I’d love to hear how it turns out.

  • Do you think it’s possible to make this in a really drapey woven fabric?

  • I bought this pattern the minute I saw it on instagram! Such a sweet, simple, staple with such a great design element in the cowl neckline. LOVE IT. I want to make a long sleeve version of this and was wondering if you have any tips? Thank you!!!
