There is something so easy about wrap tops and dresses: effortlessly chic and oh-so feminine. The wrap top + dress VONDEL is what my nonchalantly stylish urban self wears when strolling through le Marais in Paris or gently gliding through the Vondelpark on a summer day.
The wrap top + dress VONDEL is designed with light-weight drapey fabrics in mind. Typically, this is more of a spring or summer piece. But I think that a VONDEL in a wool crepe would make a gorgeous fall or winter wardrobe item as well!
I made each of my three VONDELs in different types of fabric. One is in organic cotton broadcloth from Organic Cotton Plus, another in a mystery fabric (a poly blend? cupro? no idea!) that I got to pick out when volunteering at FABSCRAP and the last was a cotton-silk blend (sadly, not organic) that I found on my trip to NYC back in October.
